HealthyCommunities
Our target groups are:
1. ADULTS in the community as end users of the services and target group for the development of individual health literacy and health awareness as well as their own health prevention: They should be reached in their heterogeneous composition in the neighbourhood with low-threshold, needs-based health education services.
2. Volunteers who are active or interested in health education/education should be recruited, motivated and supported as multipliers and health guides: They are to be qualified with a modular training concept that teaches health and media skills, among other things.
3. SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS with (often still sporadic) health offers (by volunteers) that have potential and can offer health education/information in the district, such as district or family centres, neighbourhood houses, district management, family education centres, foreigners' associations and migrant self-organisations, but also organisations such as the German Red Cross, THW, Malteser, etc. They are to be supported in their low-threshold health education programmes to build capacity and networked with the qualified volunteers from the pilot model in the district.
4. Important INSTITUTIONS in the health sector from politics and administration - both in the district/municipality and beyond, e.g. public health service and health authorities, Ministry of Health, the Coordination Centre for Equal Health Opportunities Berlin or the Federal Centre for Health Education. They are involved in the project to have a structure-building effect. Health skills are to be addressed through social and educational policy recommendations to expand health education structures at the local level to strengthen cooperation between all stakeholders and validate them with certification bodies.
